Where does Hernia occur on the abdominal wall: Hernia can occur at various sites on the abdomen. 

The commonest sites in 90% cases is groin i.e. lowest part of the abdomen, just above the thigh on the right or the left or both the sides.

It is more common in male, the ratio between males and females being as high as 25:1
